I know, I use something similar and it's way cheaper than the fancy electric ones. I'm not convinced they work any better. I don't even have a coffee maker. I use a tea kettle, a $4 Melita cone and a filter over a mug. Almost all auto drip makers are junk. They don't get the water hot enough. I wonder how many electric espresso makers that is true for as well.
