Epik Valor vs. Paradigm dsp 3400

Which sub will give me that movie theater like impact for movies. My room is 2300 cu ft.

It looks like they would be pretty close in performance. THe Paradigm is about 320 dollars more than the Valor. You could save the 320 and get the Valor or spend it and get one of Epiks higher subs that would outperform the Paradigm almost certainly. I think the Caliber runs 699 and would give you more bass all around.

Yeah I thought about the Knight or Castle, but they are just to big for my placement area. The Valor or the paradigm would fit just right. If they are similar in performance for movies, then its a no brainer the Valor for sure. Any more opinions

Here is a link with a whole number of subs tested. I see a number of Paradigms, not sure yours is there. If you want a theater type punch, may need to get a good one

I qualify my statement as an educated guess (as opposed to an opinion). I have read one review of the DSP3400 and will post a link later.

I trialed WOTW yesterday wth my Valor.

I figured I would put it behind the couch to see if there was any 'kick'.

A friend and his girl came to listen in; she jumped, screamed and left the room I am still playing around with the optimum location but that was a fun place for this movie.

Valor set at 4/10 and referenced at 82dB @ 60Hz on the test done with Rives Test CD and RS meter.

I think I like it
