Epik Empire or A7S-450 Elemental Designs

I need help deciding on what sub I should get. I have it down to two subs that fit my budget and what I am looking for Should I go with theepix empire or element designs A7S - 450 What one should I go with, Iwatch movies 75% music 25% I have definitive 7002s with the 12 inch subs built in My room is 15 by 15 tile flooring with area rugs and tile ceiling.

I am really would like the element A7S - 450 but it seems like it might take a couple months before they will ship it. Looks like the driver won't be in for 30-45 days. The empire can ship within a couple days, the only problem I see with the epix is shipping is going to be over 100 and that is pushing my budget.

I'm a big fan of eD and I'd recommend waiting it out for their sub. They have excellent customer service and web presence as well. I do believe that their a7-450 sealed 18" sub is tough to beat at the price point for sound quality and output. This is a big bang for the buck sub.

Whenever I find two products that are close, I like to email or call both companies and ask some questions - say about sizing and applications. If a company just gives me minimalist answers to get me off the phone, I go elsewhere. If they give thoughtful responses asking me for more details, I figure these guys like their product and want their customers to be happy.
I have no idea how good a response you will get from either of these companies. I can say that if you call Hsu or SVS to use as a baseline, they will "do it right"!

I've owned the A7s-450 and currently have a pair of Empires- the Empire is, in my opinion, the better sub. With 1" panels, the Empire is built like a vault.

Theyre both beastly subs and you really cant go wrong with either. I would go with the empire though.
