Entyr Receiver for really big room

Need help finding a receiver for a really big & open living room.
The living room is 19x17 and it's joined by breakfast area of 12x 11(both areas have 18' ceiling) and kitchen. On the other side is main door entry hall.
I need the receiver to play songs at really high volume when I throw party's at home. I'll bring down my Axiom M80's and a JBL sub from my theater for the purpose.
What would be most economical receivers to fullfill my purpose. Does Yamaha RX-V467BL fits the bill?

Find the cheapest one with preouts & plan on getting an external amp - a budget receiver won't last long trying to drive those 4 ohm speakers at really high levels.

Thanks templemaners,
I do plan to get another set fo economical speakers for driving out loud, so I don't have to mess with positioning of M80's.

How about a stereo receiver?

If I understand you use correctly; occasional set-up for a party and then returning the speakers back to the HT until the next big bash.

I would give a hard look at a capable stereo receiver instead of a HT AVR, so the money spent is in the amps driving the M80s vice the other 3-5 channels.

For example either the HK 3390 (80W/ch) or 3490 (120W/ch), or the equivalent entries from Yammy, such as RX-797 (100W/ch).

For occassional party use, I would also try to find one used if I could.

Cheers,
