Small room, and AR-HC5 or AR-PL100 speakers.
Could you help me???
Please, tell me which one would you buy and why.
I like movies more than music.

Receivers - all good choices except maybe for the Pio, which is IMO not as great as the rest of them.

Gotta say, I love my AVR-1705! It's an awesome receiver! IMHO, very good "bang for you buck". Tones of features and top notch sound!

Onkyo too.

All good units except Pio imo. I just bought the Onkyo TX-SR503. Very happy. Solid, nice controls, low price. 75w/ch. 7.1 That HK 235 looks nice too that buck mentioned. I dont like Yam and Denon controls. I know their built well though.

In Brazil, Onkyo is not so good because it's difficult to find some pieces/parts.
In this view, Yamaha is the best one.
Hk and Denon it's not so easy too.
And I live in a mid city (300.000 inh) and there is no assistance here.
i'm really in doubt, becouse I can't return the product (in fact I'll buy from Paraguay - the price is very low) and there is only 6 months of waranty.
But if it works for 6 months it will be ok. That's it????
Ar-HC5 is a good package?? Do you know Ar-PL100??

I've heard the value in the Dennon line starts with the 2105. Thats what I purchased online for under $500 and its awsome.

The RX-V450 is an excellent entry-level receiver, you can't go wrong with it.
