Contest Questions:
  1. Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?
  2. If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?
  3. Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
  4. When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?

Have fun and good luck!

1) No
2) NA
3) It depends. From my experience mastering plays a more important role than the Bit Rate. However, I still only listen to 16 bit Lossless minimum, as I can tell the difference with my medium-end Headphone setup.
4) Pay per Album. I still tend to buy more CDs/Vinyl than anything else.

Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
I have not heard anything better than the SACDs DVDAs and Sheffield Labs products I own now, so it would have to wow me

1. Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?
Yes

2. If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?
HD Tracks, Linn Records

3. Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
Yes, more than average download price for lesser quality mp3.

4. When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?
I would probably use both, but if I had to pick one over the other:
- subscription preferred for average-to-lossless quality tracks
- pay per track preferred for HD files (24 bit / 96k+)

Thanks, Cory

1) Yes I have purchased online.

2) HD Tracks, 2L records, B&W Society of Sound (subscription type service)

3) Yes, I'll pay more, within reason of course.

4) Both have their benefits. I subscribe to the B&W service, but would probably only carry one subscription at a time. Theirs is not limited with any DRM, which is a must of course. Otherways individual album or even track sales are fine.

Contest Questions:
  1. Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?
I really don't know if have or not. Probably not.
  2. If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?
    Havent done so.
  3. Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
I won't even pay full price for any digital media. I buy from mp3 fiesta. I would like a device that can assist poor quality music.
  4. When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?
Pay per track/album, no doubt.

1. Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?

No. Simply because I'm unsure whether I'd notice any difference in quality.

2. If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?

N/A

3. Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?

It depends on how much more it would cost. If it were marginally more expensive and I could actually hear a difference, I would definitely consider it.

4. When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?

I prefer paying for single tracks rather than whole albums. I used to dread purchasing entire albums for a few tracks I actually liked. Those days are LONG gone.

1: Have you purchased 24bit music in the past?
Yes

2: If so, what are the sources you have purchased from?
Various DVD-A discs, SACD's and HD tracks downloads.

3: Are you willing to pay more for higher quality audio?
Yes, if the recording lends itself to be appreciated in a high quality format. Certain newer music which is highly compressed results in nothing more than garbage in, garbage out.

4: When purchasing music online, do you prefer a subscription or a pay per track/album model?
I would prefer to be selective when buying and just purchase on a per track or album basis.
