1. Yes, I have a HDTV
2. The TV has all of the available built-in tuners
3. I have no plans to buy a separate tuner. The built in one is not great, but it is good enough for both analog and digital OTA. I do not have cable, so I do not use the QAM tuner.
4. I don't plan to purchase one
5. Mainly, I'd want good digital OTA signal tuning performance and a decent price, silent, not too large, etc. Standard coax out is fine for video, though I'd consider HDMI if it was not expensive. For Audio, either digital optical or digital coax is fine. As far as I know both have enough bandwidth for all OTA audio broadcasts.

1. Yes.
2. No.
3. No. Both HDTV's are tied to DirecTV HD boxes.
4. Neither. Don't need another tuner.
5. Component, HDMI, toslink, and composite, and simultaneous output for all video outputs. Additional niceties include upcoversion to 1080p, a 103% "zoom in" (is that called overscan?) so that the display does not show the closed caption data on the top of the picture as white squirrely lines, closed captioning, good multipath rejection, and a signal strength meter (for antenna aiming).

ATSC tuner

Contest Questions:
Is your current TV High Def capable? No (I wish).
Does your current TV have a ATSC tuner? No (not yet).
Do you plan to purchase an ATSC tuner in the future? No, not if my HDTV purchase preferably includes a built-in ATSC tuner.
Will you purchase a low end or high end ATSC tuner? Neither, again, if my HDTV purchase preferably includes an ATSC tuner.
What features would you like to see on ATSC tuner? RF out? Component? TOSLINK? If I were to get an ATSC tuner, it should have as many audio and video outputs -- both the analog and digital varieties -- as possible to provide as much flexibility in user-convenience and TV-compatibility.

Is your current TV High Def capable?
1 Yes. 1 no

Does your current TV have a ATSC tuner?
1 Unsure. It's 4 years old. 2 no. However both can receive ATC signals via my Dish HD DVR.

Do you plan to purchase an ATSC tuner in the future?
Not likely unless my main tv croaks for some reason.

Will you purchase a low end or high end ATSC tuner?
If I did, it would be a higher end.

What features would you like to see on ATSC tuner? RF out? Component? TOSLINK?
HDMI v1.3

My only HD TV at the moment is HD ready.
It does not have an HD tuner.
I don't plan to purchase a stand alone tuner as I don't view over-the-air broadcasts, though the next set that I buy will have one needed or not.
I would certainly not go for a high end tuner as over-the-air is of no importance to me.
In any device of this sort, I would like to see at lease toslink, Componet, and HDMI. DVI and SPDIF would be nice additions. I would probably never use RF if it was available.

1) Yes, 47" Westinghouse LVM-47W1
2) No
3) I will buy one when/if the government starts issuing vouchers for them
4) Depends on what features ATSC is going to have in the future. E.g. interactivity and whatnot. Then it will depend on how much the high end ones cost vs the low end ones.
5) A digital 1080i video output (e.g. DVI/HDMI) would be required for me to buy one. Same for audio output (toslink/coax, I don't care which.) RF out and composite out would be nice as well if I ever need to use it for an older TV.
