B, definitively B. less flashy, doesn't stand out, black is cool. blends into the back of receivers well.

I prefer "B" because "A" reminds me of those "high end" cables that you can get at Home Depot for $10. "B" just looks cool in my opinion.

A: it is easier to see the colors and also reflects light better making it easier to find behind the rack.

I like A (chrome) better because I can more easily see the designator color stripe. The black chrome (B) looks cooler BUT if I can't see the stripe when I'm swapping cables while I'm leaning over in the dark, cursing myself for making it so cramped, it doesn't make for long-term satisfaction.

I think it would be easier to see the color identification bands with option "A" as others have mentioned.

I prefer choice A since the connection ID is easier to see.

I prefer connector B. I don't flashy/chrome connectors that much is the reason. The more subtle gray looks better to me.

A - because for version B, I can't see the color difference as easily in more dimly lit environments. What ever happened to "form follows function"?

I think the other one draws too much attention to the connection. B has a nice glossy look that makes it look classy instead of cheap.
