Hi Guys,

I have been seriously thinking of changing my EMP speakers and getting the aperion VGT along with the matching VG center channel.

I have been saving for some time and am almost there just waiting on the guy to come and take the EMP's off my hands. While on my budget shelling out $2500 for the VGT towers and Center channel is not a easy task I am hoping that I am making the right decision.

Do you guys think that by moving from the EMP E55ti to the Aperion VGT that I will get that WOW effect? For all those who have listened to both these speakers what was your impression?

Let me know.

There's no harm in trying them out...Aperion still has their trial policy where you can return them within 30 days and they pay for shipping, right?

Excellent point, Phillip! Given that, Fowl, you certainly might want to try the Aperions before you give up the EMPs. Not only does it let you keep your current speakers if you decide that you don't love the Aperions, but it also let's you compare them side-by-side.

On another note, if $2500 isn't easy, maybe that's your answer - even if they are better, is it worth stretching yourself thin for it?

I have not heard the Aperion but read good things about them. They make a new rear surround speaker that has a Diopole/Biopole switch on it for music or HD movie effects. I had no idea they had such a cool policy on Buyers Remorse :)

Thanks guys for your suggestion, but I am in grand Cayman and I dont think Aperion will be willing to pay for free shipping here.:D
