Hi everyone -

I'm putting together a kids playroom/tv/game room in the basement and kitting out a 5-channel system. I'd like it to be sonically good (as I'll watch with the kids), but this is primarily a movie watching/video game room, there won't be anyone doing audiophile jazz listening in that room. I'm thinking of on-wall L/R/C and in-ceiling surrounds to maximize space. I don't mind spending a little money ($500/each max) for speakers, but I'm not averse to saving money either. I was considering either Paradigm Millenia or something from Definitive, but then I saw the EMP-Tek EW-30s which seem to be about half the price. Does anyone have any experience with these and how they compare to the other options? I'm open to other options as well, but I think I want to stick with on-wall just for aesthetic/space-saving reasons.

Finally, am I ok in that setup with a single sub or do you think I need two? I will probably put those inside a cabinet at the front of the room.
