The Emotiva BPA-1 is specifically designed for home audio applications. Due to its excellent size to power ratio and overall flexibility it can fit into any application. It is ideal for driving second zone speakers and side axis speakers. It makes a great passive subwoofer amplifier with its bridged mono capability providing 200 watts of power and a built in variable frequency low pass electronic crossover! It also makes an excellent two channel integrated amplifier. No home should be without one, or two, or.....

The little amp that can! $129.00

I'll take 75 x 2 from Emotiva all day and night over the 100 x 2 watt receivers most people have. Bridged into mono its a 200 watt brick!

This is a great price. I love my little BPA-1. It performs like a champ driving my 2.1 setup.

Emotiva HQ isn't far away from me.

I just saw Emotiva's area code there, 615 = Tennessee. I never knew they were so close. They are just over an hour or so away from my parents house, so I'm going to call tomorrow to see if they have any facilities there (Franklin, TN) that would be tour worthy. I know a lot of their manufacturing is done (or at least used to be) in China, but there might be some assembly or even just a demo room with Emotiva gear to check out. With all the fuss here about Emotiva products, I'd like to see some in person. Since none you guys with Emotiva products live near me, fine... I'll just go to the source!!! :p:p

Just a few key specs to lure those not yet convinced by the end of this thread...

• Class A/B design topology
• Toroidal power transformer
• 75 Watts x 2 into 4 Ohms
• 150 Watts x 1 into 8 Ohms (bridged configuration)
• Signal sensing auto turn-on and soft touch front panel power switch

Three will fit side by side into one A/V rack space.

Ditto,i bought one a little while back just to fart around with & its a killer lil amp thats every bit as good as my much more pricey mini mono's from Marantz & Rotel.

My oldest son is using it right now to run his center channel with & its got big ba!!s in mono.

I visit the Emotiva Lounge forums, and they are introducing some really nice stuff in Jan. '08. They have a subwoofer system with two passive 12" in two cabs. with an 800 watt amp driving the two. They also introduced some other speakers.

I'd visit about Feb '08, and when I log onto the forums today I'll ask about demos.

Got my BDP-1 this morning!

She was double boxed, in perfect condition, and if it wasn't a Christmas Present I'd be playing with it :D.

As most of you know, I'm a C 3-4 Quadriplegic. My weekend and evening care giver is a super nice guy, so I'm giving him The Emo BDP-1 and a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 30's for Christmas. These are to hook up to his computer at first, where he can play CDs, MP3s, and internet radio.

Ho Ho Ho!

A great gift, Ric! Very nice of you.

I've been pretty good this year, too, Santa... :)

Those are some really nice little amps, I got two of them and then decided to return them a week later in exchnage for an IPS-1 when it was on sale since I was so impressed by their power and overall quality.
