I know they are in different price brackets but is the 7500 worth the extra $800.00. should i be looking at something other than the emo

It's not fair to compare a product 800 less. What to get depends on your needs.

Originally I strongly considered getting the Outlaw amps, then I looked at Emotiva. As an end result, I have a pair of Emo XPA-5's on one system and a XPA-3/LPa-7 on another system. They power my Polk LSi's just fine to my ears. Great bass response with the extra power over the AVR.

I would think that your Denon receiver should be fine for your RTi's. Are you looking at powering LSi's?

i am considering replacing the rti8's with either A7's or A9's, the 9's will need more power. don't want to go lsi b/c them would need new center too.

One will perform the rest of your life, the other has pretty blue lights....

In terms of sound quality, there should be no difference. In terms of life expectancy, I don't know if anyone can really say. Some people on these forums have bought Emotiva gear and love it. Gene's review of the Emotiva gear has been great. Others have had some bad luck with faulty equipment from Emotiva.

I myself bought an XPA-2 and it sounds very good to me. Will it last? Verdict is still out.

I guess the question is, if the Emotiva lasts you 5-10 years, you could buy 2 for the price of 1 Outlaw amp...

Both are good.

Pick up an Emotiva then. They give you a 30 day no risk trial and like I said, mine is running fine... The build quality seems very good. I couldn't believe I only paid $700 for my Amp when I opened it. The darn thing weighted 90 pounds, sounds great, and as PDawg said, has pretty blue lights....

I say go EMO. i have an xpa5 and have had an xpa3 and love them both. I plan on adding an xpa2 to my xpa5 to power my fronts. They are built like a tank and sound great. I think you would be happy with the EMO. Just because something else costs more does not make it better anyways. Get the emo and save ya some money ;)
