Emo ERC-2 Player - A True Balanced Project?

Does anybody knows whether the ERC-2 CDP is a truly balanced one?

You could ask Emotiva (they're pretty responsive, I've found), but from their web site it looks like the ERC-2 is fully differential in the analog domain, but not in the digital domain, like some other players. I think Emotiva did the important part. I have one, and though I use it only as a transport, in my listening tests through a preamp it sounded just as good as my previous Mark Levinson CD player. It is a bargain.

Matter of fact, I've heard that the core project it's not truly balanced, but it seems to be the other way' round though

avliner its hard to say without the blueprints of the unit or an actual unit to take apart, you know you can't believe everything you read or hear. PS; I'm sure a call to Emotiva will provide you with the information you seek.
