Well right now im running them with a Gizmo amplifer. But in the next 3-6 months i plan to upgrade everything ( preamp/amp, integrated, dedicated cd player and hopefully a DAC ) I want to run these speakers on stands keep these until i get a hold of towers for cheap. What would you guys reccomend for a good small system. Mostly be playing cd's and my Zune. I was curious about my speakers cause im afraid they might not be good for a living room sized room.

If you dont foresee going multi channel any time soon, same money and get a Stereo Integrated Amp. You can get some very good ones for $250-500 shipped.

Look for Onkyo, Marantz, Nad on www.audiogon.com

I completley agree with this. I would also look for Cambridge Audio. Their lower models tend to be fairly inexpensive but very good. I've owned a few Marantz integrateds and I have been pleased. The NAD C320BEE is also easy to find used and very good.

Im looking at integrated amplifers that I can run as a preamp in the future... Im still debating on a subwoofer cause ive now matured in audio ( and music ) im only 19 im not a big fan of boom boom everywere.. right now my bookshelves cut off at 60hz i believe so i would want a clean, powerful smooth sounding sub... or else ill save and get towers....
