Ok, the is the first time I've ever posted on any site like this, but I have a question about these speakers. I've seen them on ebay, refurbished and used, but I've never seen them anywhere still unused in the original boxes. I came across a pair of them Sunday and I would like to know more about them. Will someone help me out? Oh, I'm not sure how to post pictures on this forum.

What are you planing to use them for? They are instrument speakers with a wizzer cone. They are for full range application. Response is 80 Hz to 13kHz. They are 16 ohm as was usual back in the tube era.

They can be in a open back box, reflex and horn loaded.

Here is the application data.

Note this speaker is for instrument use and not home audio. It would be a lousy speaker for home audio. It is beloved of musicians for electric guitar.

I have a pair of Electro Voice EV Sentry 5's 10 inch woofer and horn and love them. I have had them for 20 years and they still sound great. I have PSB in the main room now but I still listen the the EV's the most. I agree about the instrument speakers, not a great choice for home use, but if you can find some used EV's they make a great addition. Have seen a few adds for the Sentry 3 and for the 5's.
