I replaced an old eosone 3 -way,,as my fronts are Phase Tech tearto tower 10's, so this should be a better timbre match and a better fit to my system.

It was really cheap from onecall since that line is discontinued.

What I am wondering, from the more technical folks out there is:

I noticed that the majority of the vocal audio comes out one of the woofers and some low freq comes out of the other,,with higher sounds in the tweeter.

Is it common for only one woofer to push the majoity of mid-audio on this speaker.

It can be used as both a bookshelf and center and I have it horizontal as my center right now.
Just want to make sure it is working as it should since I just received it yesterday.

Hopefully the link with the specs can help address my question.

thanks
joe

From the link you posted:

"Helping matters is the fact that one of the 6.5's two 5.25-inch midrange drivers is a passive radiator. This way, less burden is placed on the crossover to address cancellation problems that can occur between two identical drivers playing identical signals. As a result, the 6.5's image is not only wide, deep, and accurate, but it never suffered from cancellations or nulls with the material we tried."

So, the speaker seems to be working properly. :)
