I know that title isn't exactly good, but I don't know what to do. My auction finished 2 days ago and I still have heard no word from the winning bidder, is there something I was supposed to do because all I have done is send the bidder one message asking him how he wants to do this. Now I cannot send him or her anymore messages and I assume the same goes for the bidder. All I know is I need the money soon and I have no clue as to what I should do, I have looked all over my account trying to figure out how to use the darn thing and I can't even find a tutorial. I have no experience in selling or purchasing things on the net, any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

This post shows the true noob in me.:D

Your account page or your e-mail address. The only time I ever bought something on E-Bay (5 or 6 years ago) I remember gettting confirmation e-mail letting me know I won bid. And instructions on payment.

Well I tried to use the "Contact Us" thing and it tells me I can't do that untill March 12, 2007. So go figure, I need money and I have no way to contact Ebay or the bidder. If I had a way to directly email Ebay.

They would if they knew I had a problem. Fact is the bidder and I are probably the only ones that know there is a problem, but we aren't able to contact one another, because Ebay's BS gets in the way of simple two-way communication.

If that's the case, you might have to wait untill March 12th, or look for an 800 number.

Go to your "my ebay" page and click on the "sold" link on the left hand side, then within the line item click on the drop down list and send an invoice to the buyer. Or you can click on the buyer's username and then when his default ebay profile pulls up click on "contact member" on the leftside of the screen.

Unless there is something new I've never had problems contacting buyers or sellers, I've been around ebay a bit (102 feedback, and 100% positive) and have always been able to contact the involved members with my transactions.

Already tried contacting the bidder, it will not allow me to do so.:( I have also already sent him an invoice. Maybe the bidder does want to purchase the item now.

If I go to My Ebay and then to items won I get a list of all the items purchased in the last 30 days or so, at the right column of each item I have a tab that has several options like "pay now" "leave feed back" and "report as item not received"

if I where to click on that option it sends me to a resolution console, from there you start a sort of like a negotiation table supervised by ebay staff.

happened to me before.

I'm pretty sure you can report an item as not paid (I have never sold anything on ebay)

but in all fairness you should give the buyer a week to pay unless you specifically stated in your conditions that the buyer must pay immediately

hope this helps

Seth,if your going to sell on ebay for future reference put a few things in huge bold lettering in your next auctions like this.

BUYER MUST MAKE CONTACT WITHIN 24 HOURS.

ALL BUYERS WILL INCLUDE THEIR PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS IN THEIR FIRST CONTACT.

BEFORE ITEM IS SHIPPED SELLER REQUIRES THE BUYERS CONTACT TELEPHONE #.

ALL BUYERS WILL RESPOND TO ANY INVOICES SENT & KEEP SELLER POSTED AS TO WHERE PROGRESS STANDS THROUGHT THE DEAL.

"There are no exceptions to the rules of my auctions listed above & if you cant abide with my stipulations feel free not to bid,if you treat our deal in the manner listed above you can expect & will recieve the same in return."

Dont be worried about scaring off buyers, statements like the ones i use only go to reinforce buyers confidence that you are not a scammer & that your serious about doing good deals.

To echo what others have allready said your MY EBAY is your best friend as a seller, spend a bunch of time there using all the links & trying everything out, another fantastic tool on ebay is the help feature, after clicking help you will get an a to z help index, spend some time using the a to z faq before your next auction.

That thing i hate about buying and selling is the wait period whenever you have arguments. Two weeks of this, two weeks of that add a month to get to another level blabla. Meanwhile, you are expecting your money back or trying to get your things sent. I learnt it the hard way, if you use paypal, do the complaints through paypal FIRST then through Ebay. If you go through Ebay first, it will take much much longer:mad:
I will just claim it through paypal from now on.

LOL. Just messing around. I just think it is cool that it is even available to me... So many interesting companies are right here in my own back yard, literally within minutes driving time. To name a few: EBay, Yahoo, Google, Intel, AMD, Apple, NetFlix, Silicon Image, SCEA aka Sony Computer Entertainment America has two big offices here, Red Hat (Linux) and even Oppo.

California is a busy place.

I was wondering, could you contact Alec Baldwin for me? He borrowed Tekken 3 a while back, and even though it is an older PS1 game I would still like to have it back.:D

For the Topic:

Paypal sucks to get started, it has no tutorial. I finally got that thing figured out though, thank GOD!!

Just get 5, it has all of them on it, including 1 :D I just downloaded Dark Resurrection for the PS3 and it rocks :) (except it is only Tekken5:DR) Sorry, none of the Baldwins I know are famous, and those ones live in SoCal, Nor Cal is where the tech/nerd/sofware and wine is :)
