Hello, so I used to have an iphone and I switched to android recently and the volume contol of my apple earphones which I love do not work on my android. So I am basicaly looking for a copy of the apple for android( https://www.apple.com/ch-fr/shop/product/MNHF2ZM/A/earpods-avec-mini-jack-35-mm? )

My requirements:

- wired
- same type of earbud than the apples, not of this in-ear bullshit, hate those.
- jack
- has microphone
- has volume control
- works with android
- has a good sound quality similar to apple ones.

I thought that would be easy when I started this but after going through all the shops and all of amazon I am starting to think that this is more complex than expected..
If you have any recommendations that would be VERY helpful thank you !

So are you looking for earbuds that don't use foam or silicone ear tips? Gotta say, I'm not sure where you'd find any. The only non-apple ones I can think of off the top of my head are Bluetooth: Soundpeats Trueair. Seems like I might've seen some behind-the-neck jogging earphones that might also fit that requirement, but I can't remember who made them -- JBL maybe?

Well, I did just find some cheap Chinese wired ear buds that appear to tick all your check boxes: https://www.amazon.com/Linklike-Headphones-Microphone-Lightweight-Earphones/dp/B07L738NLT Beware that some of the reviews on that page are suspicious. Fakespot gives it a C rating.

You could also go for an analog solution, an inline variable resistor: https://www.amazon.com/Inline-Control-3-5MM-Headphones-Black/dp/B008DJTB32/ But such a device will definitely interfere with an inline mic, as the plug is TRS, not TRRS.
