Well, just installed a pair of Dynaudio Excite X32 next to my Phil3.

The X32 look small in comparison to the Phil3.

On the back of the X32 are high end speaker posts, bass port, and the "Made in Denmark" label.

The sound quality is excellent IMO. Very detailed and crystal clear sound with nice soundstage and image. Light on the bass, but subs can easily remedy that.

I can't find any measurements, but was able to find some on the bookshelf version - the X12.

About 60Hz-20kHz +/-2dB on-axis and kind of smooth horizontal off-axis, but not as good vertical off-axis.

Overall, I will say Dynaudio makes great sounding speakers using Dynaudio drivers and made in Denmark.

The P362 were not doing the Phil3 justice.

I just had to.

But........it confirms my belief that although speakers sound differently, great sounding speakers just sound...........well, great.

People could just pick a number of speakers and be happy with any of them.

Like how you guys wonder if certain speakers just might sound better than your own? They won't. The speakers most of you have already sound great.

Don't underestimate the power of the Darkside.......Once you give in, forever will it hold your destiny.

Right now I'm running some Focus 110's, hoping to score a 200c today. Up next will be a pair of Focus 220 MkII's. This is a second setup so I'm not in a hurry to purchase these, when the right deal comes along I'll make the move.

What are you using to power the X32's?

How do you think they compare in SQ to the Phil's?

Using just Denon 3312 to power both with a Niles speaker selector.

Both Dynaudio and Philharmonic sound great. Anyone would be happy to own either.
