DVD Settings

Hi All!

I have a Sony ES DVP999 DVD player and was wondering about the settings. There are these settings (I forgot the name) that ask for either 44.1kHz/24-bit PCM or 99khz etc.

Which one do I select?

I believe what you are getting at is the setting that downsamples any 96khz audio.

If your receiver can handle 96khz audio, set it to 96khz...otherwise, leave it at 44khz.

I would guess this setting only makes a difference if you are connected via the coaxial or optical cable. This setting should have no effect on analog outputs on the DVD player
