DVD Player settings for best viewing

I have a new LCD from sharp. (Aquos)
and a mitsubitie DVD player.
The DVD has several settings: 16;8 wide or normal.
also progressive /or interlaced.
there is also a cinima or normal view option....
And one help me is figuring the best setup for my TV?

progressive if you have it hooked up with component cables
cinema

That should be the best for movies.
