I recently replaced my DVD player, due to a lighting hit, with an Electrocompaniet EMP 2 and connected it to my Classe SSP-800 Processor by using the dual HDMI outputs (one for video and the other for audio) - one connected to my plasma and the other to the processor for sound and it worked fine. I replaced my Classe SSP-800 Processor recently, due to lighting, with the current model Classe SSP-800 and hooked it up the same way and have no sound now.
