DVD-Audio/DTS Audio

I am in the process of completing my 5.1 channel setup.
Here's what I have so far:

NAD T743 Receiver
Cambridge Audio Azur 540D DVD/DVD-Audio player
Paradigm Monitor 7 ver.3 fronts
no center, surrounds or sub yet(coming soon)
32" Sony Wega CRT TV(upgrading to DLP HDTV soon)
Cables from Zu Cable and Tributaries.

Here's my questions:

Will DVD-Audio or DTS music discs work with only 2 channels?

The specs for my DVD player say it uses Meridian Lossless Packing to deliver
24-bit/192kHz stereo DVD-Audio.

Is the 24-bit/192kHz stereo DVD-Audio track encoded on DVD-Audio discs?

Is it on all DVD-Audio discs?

Do I need to use the 5.1 channel analog connection from my DVD player to the receiver to hear the 24-bit/192kHz stereo DVD-Audio?

What about DTS or DD Audio(I am clueless here)?

To my understanding:

1) DVD-Audio will not play correctly in 2 channels. You can get the front two channels of the mix, however, you'll be losing the rest of the music. DTS requires a digital connection to be played. Therefore, if you have an A/V receiver that will accept an optical or digitcal coax audio in, you can use it in 2-channels (make the receiver process it that way).

2) The two channel mix I know does not appear on all DVD-Audios, however, it may appear on some. I'm not sure. If it's just the two channels you're looking for, you shouldn't need to use the 5.1 in. Any analog in should do.
