Hoping for some help with cabling....

Hardware:

Yamaha 2600
Denon DVD 1920
TV witn single scart Input
PC witn HDMI Output

Requirements:

Best conenctionts to amp, and to single scart on an old tv!!
Ability to play dvd-audio (requires either hdmi, or multichannel analogue)
Access of Yam GUI
DVD video to TV

Current setup:

DVD to Amp via HDMI
Amp to TV via single rca from monitor out for GUI access

Just got all of my kit, and trying to decide how best to connect it.. my current setup will not display video from the dvd.. presumerably due to hdmi input, and video composite output to tv scart socket.

Suggestions Ive had are to connect the dvd scart to tv, but this will then prevent amps gui access, and pc display on tv.

Possible solution... connect dvd to amp (video only) via either s-video or component, I will still need to use HDMI cable to dvd-audio for best results.

Connect pc to amp via s-video or compnent, and coax/opt for digital audio.. but I have the ability to use HDMI (new sapphire graphics card).

It seems that the only possible solution I have to connect the TV from the amp (12 year old tube tele, with single scart) is either s-video or composite to scart.

I thought I could simply connect both the DVD and PC via HDMI to the Yamaha, then have s-video, component or composite to the TV using some form of scart adapter.. but I dont know if TV needs to be able to receive a compnent input (RGB)???

I know the TV is the wekest link, but I cant afford a decent screen yet, so have to make do with what I have. I thought the YAM could decode the digital signal from the hdmi into analogue, then I could push analogue video to the TV via one of the methods mentioned above.. but I dont know if this is possible....???

Any help would be great....

Thanks

Any advice would be great....
