Dude, where's my power cord?

So all of my equipment and cables have been sitting on the dining room table for months. I now have my new AV Stand and expect delivery of the TV in a few days.

I go to place the equipment in the new stand to see if I will need to buy longer cables and I discover that the power cord for the cable box is nowhere to be found. Now where did it go? I'm guessing it was left in my old stand and the Salvation Army guys didn't notice it (nor did I).

See if you can drop in at the Salvation Army if they still have your furniture there. Or, 'hello, customer service, I need a power cord for your cable box'

I have multiple tables in the house although lately I've been eating in front of the computer. My computer desk is 7 feet wide and bigger even than the dining room table.

You bet I have.

You know I didn't intend to be without an AV stand or TV for so long but that's just how it worked out. I intended to go to Time Warner today and ask for a new power cable or even upgrade to a better cable box but as usual I ended staying up most of the night and slept right through the day (I'm off this week). There's always tomorrow...

Just got a call from the freight company. TV will be delivered Wednesday. Now I really need to get moving and go get a new cable box or power cord and longer component video cables so I can be ready on Wednesday.
