Curious, why looking at Dual record players (hard for me to call a changer a tt :) )? The service manual I see a pic of on hifimanuals.com has this as record player/integrated amp/speaker set. I had a 1219 for my first good player....back in 72.

I think they are cool looking & from what I'm reading, pretty decent too

You are looking at a 1970/71 compact stereo system from Dual. If you want an all-in-one vintage system, why not; but, if you are just desiring a turntable to add to your current system ya might want to consider a manual turntable which can host a contemporary cartridge. The problem with record changers is cueing is not consistent or precise.

Also the old Duals were generally idler wheel driven and don't know if anyone has replacement parts these days as another consideration. Once I got my Technics SL1200 never needed the Dual again, sold it (altho kinda wished I'd kept it around for nostalgia now....or even a quick buck seeing how much people are paying for old units these days). I'd stick to the 12xx series for Dual's old stuff and make sure service/replacement parts are available.
