Was the BOV a pain in the butt to install? When I put one on my cruiser it took about 2hrs because one of the three bolts is really hard to get at.
Yep, extremely hard to get too. Ended up removing a ground on the intake on the side of the valve cover and coming up underneath with a double jointed socket adapter.

I really like the Boomba though, not loud and ricer like some of the HKS and others I've heard, I can barely hear it with the windows up. Just lets people know you got something under the hood everytime you shift.;)

Just got a Fed-ex tracking number on my springs, they should be here Saturday!!:D

Are you replacing the shocks at the same time? I found out the hard way that you really need to do them both at the same time.

No, not at this time. I'm getting the Goldlines which are only a 1"/1.5" drop and most people haven't had any problems blowing there struts with these. They were only $135, offer near stock spring rates and are a temporary fix until I save up for the Mopar stage 3 coilovers.;)

It might be comparing apples to oranges, but on my cruiser I also used the Goldline springs. I have a 1" drop in the front and a 1 3/4" drop in the rear. The ride in the front is was OK for about 6mo to a year and then the struts just kept bottoming out over just about everything bigger than a pebble. The backs didn't last nearly as long. They're Ok when it's just me in the car (a lot of weight), but even when its just my son in the car with me the car starts to get that embarassing bounce just like Grandpa's Cadillac. I ignored the standard advice of changing shocks at the same because stock shocks just will not hold up well over time with even a small drop. I want the Konis, but I'm a bit put-off by having to do use a hack saw on the stock strut housings.

Hmm, I may check out the Tokicos then. Thanks for the first-hand knowledge, I've been getting alot of my info on the SRTforums and it's sometimes difficult to filter through the BS.;)

Love the stealth look you are going for here. Blacked out wheels look great. I applaud your wing removal -- it really cleaned up the lines on your car (especially since I saw a factory one yesterday and the spoiler looked a bit tacked on); added benefit greater rear visibility. Will keep an eye on this thread, its 85% more interesting than 1/2 the sh1t I read in the forums as it is :D
p.s. I have a little automotive project I've been working on for the last few years you might have an appreciation for -- will have pix in about 2 weeks or so, provided you give me permission to post in your thread.

Thanks!

Go right ahead whenever you get it done.

Here are some better pics and the last item I'm waiting on is the LED 3rd brake light. Stamping the car as finished when it arrives.

You gonna trust the wife with it while you're away on deployment? :D

It's a shame you have to go back to the "sand box".

Let us know when you leave and be sure to either sign-in here once in awhile or have the wife submit something. I'll gladly ship you anything you need while you're away or help out any way I can.

You take care over there! :)

Love the wingless look, that thing looks like fun. Have some fun and stay alert over there, you know what to be watching for.
Thanks for your service.

She couldn't drive it even if she wanted too. I tried to teach her to drive a manual with my old car, she didn't pick up on it very well.

Who knows, maybe I'll get stuck at one of the "plush" camps in Kuwait.;)

Ok Matt, let me know what you think...

Black car: '87 Nissan Sentra owned since new. All show and no go. Slammed front and rear (about 4 1/2 inches up front and 3 inches in the rear at least) front valance is about 2 1/2 inches off the pavement. Kaminari fiberglass body kit molded into the body -- no visible rivets or seams. Door handles and locks shaved. Rear license plate lights and trunk lock shaved. Brake calipers and drums chromed. Windshield wipers and cowl chromed. Phantom top with integrated sunroof. M3 style rear wing (fiberglass). Rear taillights from '90 Sentra painted candy violet (looks cool, but you can't see them in these dark photos). Valve cover polished, air cleaner chromed (can you believe they still had carbuerated (sp?) cars in '87?). All custom interior with '89 Prelude Si seats covered in custom black and silver velour. Momo steering wheel (airbags suck!). ADR 17" Wheels with Zexen 205 ZR-17.
Total amount invested in this vehicle: around obscene or so.
Amount Kelly Blue Book says it's worth: $1500
Last time it was driven in the rain: 1996 or so.
Times driven per year: about twice or thrice.
Why it's still in my garage: mix of nostalgia and buyer's remorse   :D

Dropped the hammer yesterday though...
Brand new '06 Infiniti G35 Coupe 298 hp 6sp MT.
Loaded.
No modifications planned, after all when you have 19 inch forged alloy wheels from the factory what the he11 do you need to upgrade? :D
Sorry the pix are so muddy but it's dark out and my garage door is closed. Look how damn big those boxes were for the Emotiva MPS-1 LOL!!!

You are doing a great job with your Mopar, very slick +++1 on the phantom look.

I love that car, they are the sex!:D You even got my favorite color.

It's strange because on another forum I frequent there is a guy asking which sports car he should get for under $45000 and my first thought was the G35.;)

Oh...and the sentra is not to shabby either.:p

This is the last year they are being made and just found out I'm getting deployed in a couple months. 2nd to last one they had on the lot, 34miles on the odometer.

0-60= 5.6s
1/4= low 14's

Got a extended 6yr/85,000 mile warrenty thrown in as well. I
Excuse me, but what is that? And what's the MPG on it?

It's a Dodge SRT-4 otherwise known as a Neon on steroids. Turbocharged 2.4L 4 cylinder rated at 230hp and 250lb/tq(which is a conservative number given by Dodge as most 05's have been dynoing at 225hp at the wheel). I've been averaging 25mpg mixed highway/city which is including break-in period.(only has 2200miles on it now) Lowest I've gotten was the first tank at 22 and the highest I've gotten was 28.4.

Very nice car...

It's a very nice car, congratulations on your purchase! :D

My wife's new car just arrived yesterday, an Infinity G35 M6 coupe. 300HP, handling package & close ratio 6 speed manual transmission. Same colour as your new toy. Pocket rockets just gotta be RED!

The G35 only comes with summer slicks! Now we have to wait for the snow to melt again before we can bring the baby home. Winter tires will have to wait until next fall. I'll post some picks once we have it.

Maybe on one of our winter trips south of the 49th we'll meet on the highway and have a little head-to-head...:D

Congrats on the purchase! Those G35 are so smooth looking but believe it or not I don't think I've seen a red one.
