So for all purposes consider me to be new to home theater. I am moving in to a new place in which my living room/home theater room is right above a crawl space area. The crawl space has a dirt ground and is about 3'5" high. My question is whether or not I could get away with place my downwardfiring 8" Boston Acoustic driver in the crawl space and get decent response. It is not insulated and would be really nice asthetically, but would I lose all quality? Also, being that it would be firing into earth, would it be best to maybe place it on a hard surface and place it on it's side? I'm sure these may seem like dumb questions, but any advisement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
