Dolby Atmos Transformers 4 Blu-Ray Review

Ok so there are plenty of parts that stood out in the film as a WOW moment Deff. the first 10 min. And of course some of the BIG ass battle parts. I can say for sure in the 7 chan mix as well as the 5.1 and the Atmos mix that when the newly man made transformers form as it swirls around is pretty cool. I paid less attention to the voices since the dialog was less than stellar lol. as far as the frequencies to the overs the AVR set those at 80Hrz so there was a very nice blend of sound. The music wasn't sent to much to the Overs It was but not so strikingly that is was a OMG moment. and yes I did go back and reconnect the regular speakers just for that there is a difference ,AND I can say I went back and listened to it again with my 11.2 setup not with the over heads. But my Omni directional surrounds did a GREAT job of almost making the overs a moot point. If you wanna see what my setup entails go to my page look at my You tube and you can see what I use.

When you went back to 11.1 without the height speakers, was the Yamaha still processing it in Atmos or did it say TrueHD?

Are you using a Yamaha DSP post processing mode or straight?

Well you have stereo like surround that I was seeing on my Dolby CP500 with level indicators on the first video and you must have recorded it in HD? As I saw up 1080p and my camera has stereo on it with HD 1080.

Just keep the camera phone in one location if you move about the sound frequency will change or keep in one location and move it about steadily within 3 feet circle. Are you ceiling mounted ones flush mounted with the ceiling or same as the other models you have only fitted to the ceiling or flush mounted.

Still Doing it Atmos I just watched Peabody and Sherman in 7.1 true HD on the Atmos Setting and was switching back and forth between Pro Logic, Pro Logic 2 Movie Neo 6 and Atmos. and I'm using DSP Mode
