Dolby Atmos set up.

I live in a rental house and would like to set up Dolby Atmos Speakers but I can not cut holes in the ceiling. Could I please get some advice on ways to set up. I thought about building speaker box and mounting the setup to ceiling or what about using SVS, But I didn't know if the angle of the speaker would give me the Atmos sound that's the best way to go. I want to do what's best for the sound immersion. Any advice would be appreciated

Up firing atmos speakers only work in limited situations, in other words you have to be setting in the sweet spot. I would suggest putting indoors/outdoor speakers on the ceiling and hide the wires with cable runs.
