I hope you all wished your mothers a "Happy Mothers Day" before you got on the computer this morning! Well my wife is finally allowing me to buy my theater equipment for my room. 25 feet by 28 feet. The back part of my room ( 25 ft by 14 ft ) holds my pool table/ wet bar. The front half ( 25 ft by 14 ft is set asside for my home theater. I was thinking of buying axiom audio epic 80-600 with the two subs and running them with the yamaha rx-v663 av reciever? is this reciever big enough to get the performance out of these speakers?

I'd say it probably could drive them, but not to give them their full ability. Just give it plenty of ventillation and don't play it at maximum volume. If I'm not mistaken the M80 speakers come with that set and they ar 4 ohms, but very efficient. You may consider getting a multichannel amp for making them sing.
