Does pioneer VSX-1014 offer Bass crossover mgmt?

Does anyone know if the Pioneer VSX-1014 offers Bass cross-over management? Pioneer does not have the manual on-line and none of the technical spec docs they have posted say one way or the other. None of the on-line feature lists I've seen specify either. It's important to me because I'm using floor-speakers for my fronts and do not want to run into problems when I add a sub.

Thanks,

Mike

If you are asking if it can change your cross-over points... then yes, it does. From my memory of the OSD, the points are 50hz, 80, 100, 150 & 200.
Hope this helps.

Yes, that's my question

Farscaper,
Thanks. Yes that is exactly my question. Can you manually set a specific crossover point. That's great news. Given the price, then, this looks like a steal.

Check out the 1012

FLMike,

I would look at the 1012 available at Costco ($399) or Best Buy ($600). It has the same specs as an older model vsx-45tx (Elite).

With the 1012 you will be able to manually adjust the settings post automated system calibration. It is about $100 more but has advanced MCACC. You also have options for adjusting the crossover frequency of your subwoofer and you gain mulitroom capability.
