That's right. Alesis won't make one... In 2002, I bought 2 Adat XT's and the Adat Edit PCR Card (which links the Adats to the computer) from Alesis for around $5500.00 U.S. Dollars. Expensive. It worked great with Windows 98 and early versions of Cakewalk Sonar. Soon after, Alesis was bought out by someone. This new 'buyer' refused to update the software for the old products he inherited. I barely got 6 months use out of that system before Windows XP came out and with it's arrival, Cakewalk (and others) quit making versions that would work with Win 98. Progress forced me to buy a Win XP computer when my old one blew. Now those old machines just sit and gather dust all because ALESIS (remember that SORRY, SORRY name) won't update a simple driver that it would take some wiz kid all of 5 minutes to make. If you don't know of a driver, do you know of a good LAWYER who takes these kind of industry cases? If nothing else, maybe I can sue instead...
