Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking at different projection screens and have noticed that many manufacturers offer small material samples, usually around A4 size.
I’m wondering how useful these samples actually are for evaluating a screen.
For example, can you realistically judge things like brightness, contrast, viewing angle, hotspotting, or color performance from an A4-size piece of material? Would the results be representative of what you would see on a 100" or 150" screen?
Or are there characteristics that only become apparent once the material is used on a much larger screen?
For those who have tested screen samples before buying a full-size screen, did you find the sample genuinely useful?
