They do serve a purpose, ya know.

Some systems are so resolving, some cables so sensitive to vibration and some listener's sensesare so acute that even the sound of each of an insect's six or more* feet impacting with a cable's dielelectric when transversing it can generate sounds so horrible and thunderous that some audiophiles have been known to go into convulsions.

Now, thanks to modern science, these unfortunate souls can be saved from this fate worse than death.

* millipedes, anyone :eek:

.....so I should send the cable-elevators back?....hey, I got a GREAT deal on 60 of them for only 18 bucks a pop, and you guys say they're hogwash?....(chortle, chortle).....

.....guys, where there's smoke, there's usually a degree of fire....but, if it takes a scope to discern an inaudible difference, save your money for speakers......

.....JGarcia, I was told what they are made of, but told to keep it under my hat....lean closer....(the metal's name is Zjxlff, and it's mined exclusively, from the depths of the in-our-solar-system planet, Neptune)....(yes, JGarcia, that's what I was told, amazing huh?)....(I ask you to keep that under your hat too)....(they also said, as well as I see the big picture with their product, I orta' be a dealer for 'em)....(JGarcia, you a smart guy and have those GR Research 2's)....(you know what the low-mids up can sound like)....(so tell me)....(should I become an outlet/promoter for them miners on Planet Neptune?).....(huh?)....(shoot, this could be the big one)....(farm's worth about 400 thou I figure).....(weigh this for awhile if you need to, JGarcia, but reply back kinda' asap if ya' can)....

.....JGarcia, Monster audio cable, for sure, is overkill priced....some have claimed merit in their video cables, I don't know....

Their more expensive video cables are ISF certified and they work fine yes, BUT the only thing once again is how much they charge for them... If they are such a big company and can buy and build in massive quantities, why can't they lower their prices? Did anyone ever think about who is really making money off the Monster name with an inflated price? The retailers?

That's the damn truth Garcia. I have friends that work at Best Buy and Monster cable is CHEAP when they apply their employee discount.

Absolute?

It's absolute, alright, but I won't say absolute what. Well, OK, I will...absolute snake oil. I wonder what gage wire you have to use to keep it straight and off the floor between stands? Or maybe that's why they offer a twelve pack.:rolleyes: Or could it be since they are off the floor, the increased current flow makes the wires stiff.

Speaking of Monster

I went out to the local Circuit city last weekend and got a few DVD's. Only to find what? upon checkout.........MONSTER MINTS. After you get cornholed by their prices you can sooth your pain with a nice refreshing cinnamon treat.:p

Hey, those mints are pretty strong!!

Although, none of our cashiers recall selling one, but they always seem to be fewer in the bin :confused: :rolleyes:

Woo Hoo

I have decided not to buy a subwoofer and get 75 of these instead. Who needs a subwoofer when you got honest products like these.
