Do you need a fan for this amp?

You will want to do a quiet fan mod on that amp. Since it's fan is loud.

This is well documented so it shouldn't be too hard.

That Amp can drive 2 Infinity Perfect Build Subs. It can easily handle RTI's IMO.

It's a very nice amp.

The EP2500 will drive about anything you hook it up to. Like stated above, it has a loud fan so unless your gear is in a closet, you need to do the fan mod. The mod takes about 10 minutes and cost 8 bucks.( MikeC has detailed instruction on the mod in his signature) ZZOUND will price match about anything so look around for the best price and then contact them.

Just my 2 cents:)
That is a great fan mod.
With that being said; I'll bet you can't get that stock fan to even go on with those speakers. It's too light of a load.
I'd wait and listen to hear if it even comes on.

Do I need an EQ to go with the EP2500? I was thinking I don't since I will be running this amp to front speakers.

The Ep2500 fan always runs at full speed. It is not temperature controlled.

Depends on what you want to do.

If you are also running subwoofer(s), then it would be highly beneficial to get a Behringer DCX2496. This is not only an EQ, but a powerful active crossover. It is far more capable, in both EQ and Xover abilities, when compared to the functions built into a receiver, for example. If you run both the mains and sub(s) through the DCX, it will allow for seamless integration (especially important for music; not so important for movies), in addition, it allows for room correction for the subwoofer and for important filter functions for main speakers such as variable baffle step compensation (an important adjustment to be changed based on specific room placement and room size).
