I purchased this model a year and 1/2 ago. It is a commercial model that saved me a lot of $$$. If you have a cable box you don't need a TV with a separate tuner.

TV - Panasonic TH-50PHD7UY http://reviews.cnet.com/Panasonic_TH...?tag=pdtl-list

I highly recommend plasma, and this unit (although it's probably been replaced with a "new" model.

Good Luck!

Commercial grade displays

Gidday all, for those who are interested, commercial, or "professional" displays can genreally be defined as monitors...i.e, no tuner (analogue or otherwise).
They will also usually be sans speakers and will most likely also have different connectors for some inputs - BNC for example for component video and as an alternative RGBHV to a D Sub 15.
Finally, as in the case of the Pioneer MXE models, they will have an integrators mode that allows considerably more image adjustment, albeit by usually very subtle degrees than just cont/bright/tint and colour.
Thanks for your time, hope this helps.

Cheers
