DIY, which to choose?

I want to put together my own audio interconnect cable and am wondering which cable and connectors I should choose. I will need about a 4 or 5 foot run.

For cable, I am considering Belden 1694A and 89259. I'm leaning towards the 1694A because of its solid conductor and larger gauge. However, I do not understand all the measurements, so if someone could take a look and give me a recommendation, it would be much appreciated:
(Specifications can be found here but more can be seen at belden.com in their ecatalog)

For connectors, I'm pretty sure I'm going with Canare, but I was wondering if there is any advantage to bullet plugs. Because of price, I probably won't consider them, but who knows.

Thanks for your help!

Now I'm wondering how Canare's L-5CFB or LV-77S would compare to each other and the Beldens. Any opinions? I can get the Canare and its connectors a bit cheaper. (info can be found at http://www.canare.com/catalog.html)

Thanks again!
