I would do some searching at www.diyaudio.com also checkout www.audiosector.com for some nice and easy GainClone kits. www.twistedpearaudio.com also has some gaincloneish amps but also have preamps based on Nelson Pass designs. I have talked with Brian at twisted pear and he was a real nice guy and very helpful. They have nice power supply boards also.
