Distance between speaker and subwoofer

What should be the minimum distance between speaker and subwoofer? How close I can put them?

From the front speaker. I put it close to the front right standing speaker, about 5 inches close. Is that okay?

You can set a speaker right on top of a sub if you want and work great if your room agrees. Check out HD's link and get back to us with any questions.
