Personally I think all this red chicklet/green chicklet business is hilarious.

Now if we could use the green chicklets as greenbacks...hmmmmmmm...audioholics store here I come.

I feel that all feedback, whether positive or negative should be automatically signed. It would stop a lot of the BS remarks left on feedback. I try to make it a point to give a positive feedback to anybody who claims they were wrongfully "red chickletted". I figure they should break even that way.

It's just childish. Either force identity or do away with the system. If you don't want somebody to know what you said, you shouldn't say it.

I received 4 reds the other day. Out of the four, two were signed and those I could live with, but the other two just plain childish IMO. Therefore I decide to change my sig and I've rather enjoyed it and only have Chris to thank.

PS:It will also remind me to to stay out of those polictical thread...afterall its someones POV, regardless whither its right or left...oops..I mean wrong.

I read this entire thread prior to my post and Dave posted that back in 2005. As you can see not much has changed in that respect, except now Dave has control of the ban button!

What would happen if you got 3 like minded people that were always posting around each other and thanking the piss out of each other and practically killing themselves patting each other on the back because they were so freakin' in love with each other?

Well, they would probably become 1, 2 and 3 in the rep rank system.

I just re-checked and there doesn't seem any way to remove chicklets from any one forum... What might be more helpful is to have a system that registers you as liberal or conservative and then when you negative rep anyone of the other persuasion it disregards the mark, lol.

How about a system that automatically signs the rep. That way you'll always know who is sending you the red chicklet of death.

My favorite red rep experience involved being falsely accused of giving somebody red rep. I was then compelled to actually give them red rep to prove that I didn't give them red rep in the first place. For as much as people say that they don't care, they sure cry when they get it. I know I don't like knowing that somebody out there flat out doesn't like me.

Another thing I have noticed is that there is like a core group of guys here who don't mess around with anything other than A/V. I admire that. It's not for me but I admire it in them. Then there's the funsters ...

I have on average over 10 posts a day. Since I joined. Does that make me the biggest of the current Forum Whores. I find if you get around enough you can pick up all kinds of greenbacks. And it feels so good.
