I'm assuming the complainant is a relatively young person who took offence and has no appreciation for what the song is actually saying. And, I know you're joking about the song just coming out in Canada. I still remember back in '78, when I was 13 and just starting to appreciate music. "Sultans Of Swing" came out that year and I
loved it. I've been a fan ever since and I regret that I never had a chance to see them play.
I think it's absolutely ridiculous that they picked on "Money For Nothing". I guess it's because the offending word is clearly intelligible on the recording. Whereas, lots of rap "music", although laden with words that would offend just about every demographic on the planet, is for the most part, unintelligible (to me at least).
