Dirac or just calibration?

My Onkyo TZ-RZ50 arrives on Monday. I have watched a couple of videos on setting up Dirac including one from Audioholics on tweaks afterwards. This stuff is very far above my head. Would I be better off just doing calibration and set my eq's and see if it meets my expectations? That is providing that this amp does do calibration and not exclusively Dirac Live.

You can still use AccuEQ as on other models and tweak results to your liking. I used it for reference and then turned it off and set levels and crossovers manually and left it off.

Good! Does AccuEQ also set levels similar to Yamaha's YPAO?

Yes. You can also run level calibration any time you want to check and adjust levels manually going to onscreen Setup>2.Speakers>4.Level Calibration.
