If you do not have the option of stands to the left and right of the seating (which it looks like you don't), I would say a direct radiating speaker with a wall mount bracket would be the weapon of choice.

Just don't stuff your speaker up in the corner. Put it a couple feet from the ceiling. Putting it high up won't give you as good of a surround effect.
