Digital Video Output X 2

Anyone aware of anything else out there besides the insanely priced AVR 5805 which will output more than 1 digital video signal? I would like to use a prepro for switching between a front and rear projector setup, without having to resort to an external switching device to keep both signals in the digital domain.

Don't know about any receiver or pre/pros that do, but you might find what you need at http://www.gefen.com. They make alot of different dvi/hdmi switches and have been favorably reviewed.

Thanks. I already have a DVI switcher that I'm not crazy about since it doesn't switch audio. This solution is a little more elegant and might come in handy. I'm starting to feel guilty accumulating pieces of hardware that I no longer need after 6 months. When I was doing Voom and Directv HD and DVD upconversion I soon ran out of digital video inputs on my Samsung DLP.

There are several DVI/HDMI (same thing) switches on the market, from 2 inputs/1 output to 6 or 8 inputs/two outputs. With or without auto sensing (automatically switches to the most recent active input), manual switching, or switching via remote control. It’s all out there. About $80 to $600.

Anthem's pre/pros will have HDMI digital switch w/limited scaling available this month, supposedly.
