This is probably a dumb question. I have an old Denon AVR1800. I have my DVR/Digital set-top cable box sending audio to my receiver via a coax digital connection. It is also sending A/V to the HDTV via HDMI. I do not have any audio analog connection currently between the HDTV and my receiver. I have wireless speakers in the garage and the transmitter is connected to the receivers analog audio output (the only way it can be connected). I am not getting sound to the wireless speakers. Is this because the receiver is incapable of sending a digital signal out through the analog ports? If this is the case, do the newer receivers, like the new Denon 2807 allow this? I am just trying to avoid all the cables back and forth. It gets so messy.
Thanks,
