I have a Yamaha rx v2600 and I'm waiting to receive a Denon 2910 player. I'm aware that both have good procesors for upconversion to 1080i.
Which unit should I prefer to do this conversion the receiver or player--or do I have a choice?
If I use the player I lose the convienience of routing through the receiver.
