Heya folks. I own a denon 2106 and had been struggling with getting one of my audio sources (xbox) to output to zone2. I read in the manual today that you cannot output digial audio (which is how my xbox is connected) to zone2. First off, I don't understand why (i guess you have to spend more $$ to get that), but secondly I'm wondering if there's a workaround for that.
It's really really important to me that I'm able to output my xbox to my zone2. I just had a really large patio installed outside and my zone2 speakers are my patio speakers. I use the xbox to play my mp3 collection as well as internet radio.
I've identified one workaround as being attaching the patio speakers to the "B" selector on the a/b switch on the receiver, but I'd rather be able to have separate sources inside and outside.
Does anyone have a different suggestion of how I may accomplish this? Thanks a bunch!
