I have option to buy a McIntosh MA8000 or MA9000. I can't see any difference between them. The MA8000 is older and less expensive, but am I sacrificing anything?
I appreciate any information that I can use to help me decide which one to buy.

Thank you for helping me ... Bill

Based on specs, you won't be sacrificing anything if you don't use the phono and usb digital inputs. Even if you use them there will not likely be audible difference in sound quality. To me, I will not spend so much on a McIntosh integrated amp. For that kind of money, other than the convenience, I would go separates but I understand a lot of people like the one box solution.

What's the difference in price? :D

If you're spending $10,000 - $11,000 on one integrated amp... :D
