Did you notice the switch…

As I’m watching a local news broadcast for the first time since the switch (via Comcast) the picture & sound is “crisper” but oddly enough, their remote live feeds look pixilated.

I noticed nothing except that KOMO (ABC) is back on my Dish after a 7 month contract dispute. :D I didn't miss it much since my Dish receiver has an OTA tuner and I picked it up that way just fine.

BTW, Adam, since my DVR has an OTA tuner I have done a lot of comparisons between OTA and the picture I get through Dish and I must say I have never seen a bit of difference. It all looks excellent. Plus you can't beat a DVR and also stations like Discovery Channel and History in HD. ;)

I’ve noticed lately commercials that were in SD now have a TON of “jaggies” around edges of items & graphics. Anyone else?

That most likely has nothing at all to do with the switch. I'll bet Comcast is compressing the he'll out of your SD feeds so they can fit more overcompressed "HD" channels. That's the way it is around here anyway.

Yep, the day of the switch all channels went to snow except TELMUNDO

We only watch SD's and Blu's now. May get Direct TV down the road.
